Farmhouse, probably early C18, in course of renovation as house. Coursed
sandstone rubble with quoins, stone slate roof now with gable chimneys.
Formerly 3 bays (the 1st now ruined) with projecting porch at junction of
2nd and 3rd. Two storeys, the remaining house almost symmetrical: 2-storey
gabled porch in centre has plain doorway, square peephole to left and
square window at 1st floor; this is flanked by 2 stepped triple-light
windows at ground floor (that on the left with wider side lights) and by
2 stepped 5-light windows at 1st floor. Right return wall has one window
at 1st floor, rear has one at ground floor and 3 above, irregular in size
and disposition. (All windows lacking glazing time of survey). Ruined
1st bay wall has 2 window. openings at ground floor and one above. Interior:
entirely reconstructed but remains of staircase and corner chimney visible
in porch.
