Farmhouse, dated 1755 on porch, now house. Watershot coursed sandstone, tile
roof with one ridge chimney and another at junction with altered barn to left.
Double depth 2-bay plan with projecting porch to centre and short outshut to
rear of 1st bay. Two storeys, symmetrical; 2-storey gabled porch with quoins,
gable copings and kneelers, has doorway with plain jambs and large rectangular
lintel, a 2-light 1st floor casement with extended head and sill, and between
these a square dates tone with raised decoration in the shape of a scrolled
shield with a child's head at the top, incised lettering in the centre C .

Two windows on each floor, those to left slightly irregular 3-lights with
square flush mullions and extended sills and heads, those to right altered,
the lower lengthened downwards. (Continued to left but not included in the
item is former barn now altered as dwelling). Rear mostly altered but
openings are either of original shape and size, or compatible. Interior:
thorough renovation in progress (1984), but 2nd bay has vaulted cellar with
blocked 2-light mullioned window to front, keeping stone, and stone cupboards.
