Pair of shops, early C19, slightly altered. Dressed sandstone, moulded gutter
cornice, stone slate roof with chimneys at junctions with buildings to left
and right. Double-depth 2-bay plan. Two storeys; at ground floor each has
original shop front with recessed central doorway, large rectangular shop
windows with wooden panelled surrounds, plain frieze, and small dentilled
cornice which is bowed over the windows; at 1st floor each has 2 vertical
rectangular windows, now top-hung casements. Rear: mostly altered, but
includes one 3-light flush mullion window and blocked 2-light basement window.
