Church, 1877, by H. Varley. Snecked rock-faced stone, slate roof.
Nave with aisles, 3-sided chancel, south tower with spire. Early
English style. Three-stage tower with angle buttresses, a very
prominent hollow-moulded cornice to the 2nd stage, octagonal belfry
with a string course, octagonal spire with splayed base overhanging the
belfry; on south side of tower an arched doorway of 3 orders (with 2
shafts which have carved fern-leaf capitals) under a gablet, with
coupled cusped windows above. Buttressed 4-bay aisles have arched
windows of 2 cusped lights with different tracery in the heads; nave
has clerestory of triple-light windows. Interior not inspected.
