Barn, probably C17, converted to hall about 1950. Coursed sandstone rubble,
stone slate roof. Rectangular, 3 bays with aisle on south side; adjoins
other altered former farm buildings on north side. Plinth; aisle wall has
blocked ventilation slits on 2 levels with stone heads; left gable wall has
2 doorways (one blocked) and there is one 3-light flush mullion window at
1st floor level of aisle at each end; otherwise all openings altered.
Interior: 2 kingpost roof trusses with fishbone struts; tie beams to aisles
now relocated as struts; modern "gothic" fireplace in north wall.
