Lodge. 1882. Designed by James Tait. Red brick with ashlar dressings and timber-framing with brick nogging. Plain tile hipped roofs with brick stacks. EXTERIOR: Single storey plus attics. North-west front has slightly projecting gabled wing to left boarded 3-light casement window and above another similar 3-light window with tile hanging. To right a tall2-light boarded casement window in framed section with brick herring-bone nogging, and to left single light window in ashlar surround to corner.
South-west entrance front has square bay window with brick nogging and boarded 4-light window, above timber-framed oriel window with 5-1ight casement in tile hung gable. To left corner porch with segment arched doorway and panel door. North-east front has corner window in ashlar surround to right, then a tall external brick stack and timber-framed gable including bell canopy. Below further timber-framing with 2-light boarded casement window and tile hanging above. INTERIOR: not inspected.
