Farmhouse. Dated 1670 on lintel of door, altered and extended in C19.
coursed sandstone rubble with quoins, tiled roof with 2 stone chimneys.
Two-bay end-baffle-entry plan, with added 3rd bay to right. Two storeys;
at right hand end of 2nd bay, in line with ridge chimney, doorway with
chamfered surround and flat triangular head, the lintel lettered in relief
( ) ; to the left a chamfered flush mullion window formerly of 5 lights

but now lacking the 1st and 4th mullions, a formerly 2-light window to the
1st bay (lacking mullion) and between these a small blocked round-headed
window with a triangular lintel (said to have been a toll window); at 1st
floor 3 horizontal rectangular 3-light casements. Added bay to right has a
similar window at 1st floor, an altered vertical rectangular window below.
Rear has inter alia a 2 and a 3-light mullion window at ground floor, the
first blocked and the 2nd with one blocked light and others altered as a
casement. Interior: altered, except for surviving heck wall in housepart
and a wattle-and-daub partition in the 1st bay (now concealed).
