Barn, probably late Cl7 or early C18, altered. Coursed sandstone, brick,
stone slate roof. Rectangular plan, 4 bays with attached stable at left
end,outshut (altered as garage) to front of 1st bay. Opposed wagon doors
to 2nd bay; 3 doors in right gable wall (the outer ones blocked), an
inserted ground floor window and a square opening at 1st floor. Rear wall
of 1st bay is of brick. Roof structure conventional for the period: tie
beams, principals, raking struts.
