Market cross, probably, C17 (Fleetwood-Hesketh Lancashire Architectural
Guide 1955 p.166). Stone. Tuscan column of 3 tapered stone cylinders
with square cornice and ball finial surmounted by a cross, raised on
square pedestal with panelled faces, standing on wide circular plinth
of 4 steps.
