Early C19. Three storeys, rendered, with slate roof. Two windows, stone surrounds, one cut by late C19 shop front with Ionic pilasters with marked entasis. Passage entry. Modern shop front to right and door to No 5A.

Nos 1 to 9 (odd), 5A and 7A and White Lion Hotel form a group, Nos 7 and 7A being buildings of local interest only.
