House, 1838 with C17th remains. Slobbered sandstone rubble with stone slate
roof. 2 storeys with attic. South wall of 2 bays. Windows have plain
reveals and projecting sills, the right-hand ground floor and the left- hand
1st floor windows still being sashed with glazing bars. The central plain
stone door surround has '1838' incised on its lintel. The north wall has,
to the left of the door, a 4-light mullioned window with chamfered head and
rebated and chamfered jambs. 3 of the lights have very small diamond-
leaded panes. Above is a 3-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window.
To the right of the door is a cross window with an outer chamfer and an
inner cyma moulding. Towards the middle of the wall, under the eaves, is
a 2-light chamfered mullioned window with small leaded panes. Chimneys on
gables.
