Two attached terrace houses, identical in style and date. C19. Pebble dashed
render, pitched Welsh slate roof, stone window and door frames. Whimsical Gothic
style decorative stone detailing. Mytton House has symmetrical, 2 storey facade
of 3 bays with central, fielded, 8-panel door, pointed glazed overlight, set in roll-
moulded jambs with shouldered, square-topped lintel within a gothic pointed porch
with high-based, capitalised, jamb piers supporting flat-centred, roll-moulded
apex arch framed by outer roll moulding which dies into stone step at base.
No 13 has 2 storeys and 2 bays with double entrance (right hand door removed, now
glazed) bay I adjacent to large ground floor window. Ground floor window frames
bays 1, 3 Mytton House, door frames and bay 2, 3 Church Street are identical,
square, stone with roll-moulded frames in flat surrounds with chamfered sills and
corniced, segmental pediments. Upper storey of both houses have roll-moulded
square frames with chamfered sill and flat-faced, shouldered lintel. All glazing
4-pane vertical sashes. Interior not inspected.
