House, early C17th, altered. Rendered sandstone rubble with slate roof.
T-plan. 2 storeys with attic. The west wall has 2 windows with plain
stone surrounds on the ground floor, the right-hand one being sashed with
glazing bars, the other being sashed. On the 1st floor is a double-
chamfered surround to a former 3-light mullioned window. Towards the left
is a single-storeyed gabled extension. The chimney is central and the
gables have copings with kneelers. The left-hand (north) gable has a sashed
window with plain stone surround on each floor, with a double-chamfered
one-light attic window. The right-hand gable has a cyma-moulded door
surround, now within a modern porch, and a tripartite sashed window with
square stone mullions. The south wall of the rear wing has a similar
window on each floor. Inside there is said to be a plaque dated 1606 in
one of the ground-floor rooms.
