House, late C17th. Squared sandstone rubble with slate roof. Possible 2-unit
end-lobby-entry plan, the 3rd unit to the right having watershot stonework.
2 storeys. The windows are double-chamfered with mullions and hoods. On the
ground floor is one of 4 lights, with one formerly of 5 lights, now with
2 mullions, to its right. On the 1st floor are 2 4-light windows, with a
one-light chamfered window to the right over the door. The door has a
chamfered surround with triangular head. The right-hand unit is blank on the
ground floor, with a 1st floor door with plain reveals reached by modern timber
steps. The chimney is to the right of the ground-floor doorway. Against part
of the rear wall is an outshut, with a 2-light double-chamfered mullioned
window on each floor at the right-hand end of the main house. Once an outbuilding
to Hareden Hall, which has now been demolished.
