of south porch, Church of All
Hallows

Sundial, 1683, sandstone, with brass plate and gnomon. Of square plan,
socketed into square base. Lower half fluted, upper half tapering with
moulded cap. Half way up, the sides are inscribed as follows:
'FD WD 1683 RG GR SIF'. The plate is inscribed: 'John Greenwood
Junior Aug 18th 1749'.
