Bridge over the River Ribble, probably late medieval, widened
towards the south and partly rebuilt early Cl9th. Sandstone ashlar.
5 arches, the 2nd from the east being wider. Arches segmental, except
one, 3 and 4 on the north side only which are pointed with stone ribs
to their soffits. Triangular cutwaters and solid parapets with string
course and weathered coping. Part of this bridge is in Clitheroe
parish (q.v.).
