Congregational chapel, dated 1753 over porch, now used as meeting hall.
Roughcast stone with exposed quoins, stone slate roof. Small rectangular
building with house attached at south east corner. North gable to road has
low gabled porch surmounted by a simple arch of stone slabs, the rounded
top inscribed "1753"; above the porch a large round-headed window, and in
the gable a datestone inscribed "Renovated. 1906". Right side wall has 3 small
round-headed windows and taller one to the-rear: left side wall has 2
similar small windows; rear has a circular window. Attached house of 3
bays and 2 storeys has north gable wall of coursed sandstone with quoins, 2
tall round-headed windows at 1st floor of this gable, and on both gables
double chimney flues linked with an arch like a bellcote; roughcast east
side wall has 3 windows on each floor, those above all round-headed, as are
those of the rear gable. Interior of both parts now of no interest.
