Cottage, probably later C17 with later addition. Pink colour-washed rendered
hand made brick, and brick similarly coloured, roofs of corrugated sheet
covering thatch with sloping boarded eaves, and modern tiles, with a brick
chimney at the right gable and another at the junction. Older part to right
is 2 small bays and 2 low storeys, with small lean-to additions at right end
and rear; entrance by glazed porch at front corner of right gable wall, a
2-light casement above; front wall has segmental-headed 3-light casement at
ground floor, 2 small-paned sliding sashes under the eaves; all these windows,
and those in the single-bay 2-storey addition to the left, have ornamental
external shutters (louvred). Rear has large dormer breaking the eaves.
Interior: mostly altered, but large old purlins visible at 1st floor.
