Farmhouse. C16 hall-house, much altered. Part painted, part exposed red brick ground
floor with exposed timber-framing and plaster infilling on first floor. Plain tiled
roof with large ribbed side stack to left and ridge stack in centre. L-shaped with
hipped gable wing to left. Jettied eaves to the hip on exposed joists and brackets.
Two storeys; irregular fenestration of 4 casements on first floor to right and 2 on
ground floor, with one on each floor under gable. Door in brick and tile-hung lean-to
extension at extreme right, originally the forge.
