House, C17th. Slobbered rubble with slate roof. 2-unit cruck building
with gable stacks and central entrance. Altered from one storey to 2
when the top of the cruck truss was removed and the roof was raised. On
each side of the door is a rebated and chamfered window surround, each with
a central mullion removed. That to the right has had its sill lowered. At
the right-hand end of the facade is a one-light fire window. Both 1st floor
windows are modern with plain reveals. Modern door surround. Inside is the
base of a cruck blade exposed in the partition wall of the left-hand room,
rising from the front wall of the house. In the right-hand room is a
shouldered stone fireplace of C18th type.
