House, late C17th. Pebbledashed rubble with slate roof. 2-unit central-entry
plan with gable stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows have plain rendered
surrounds with segmental heads. Those on the ground floor are double sashes
with no glazing bars. 1st floor windows are sashed. Doorway has open gabled
stone porch, the door having raised and fielded panels. Right-hand chimney
has modern cap, replacing a corbelled round cap. At the rear is an outshut
with a former 3-light rebated and chamfered window, and a C19th wing with
plain openings. Inside,the right-hand room has a firehood bressumer, a C18th
moulded shouldered fireplace and a C18th built-in cupboard.
