House, formerly vicarage, 1851. Limestone rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys.
All windows sashed with glazing bars and plain reveals. Main facade faces
east and is of 4 bays, the centre 2 bays projecting with a gable. Projecting
eaves carried on cast iron brackets. Roof hipped with a chimney each end of
ridge. North facade of 3 bays with one-storey entrance porch having its
gable treated as a wooden pediment and with a front door in the left-hand
return wall with chamfered plain limestone surround and cornice hood. South
facade has 4 windows to the ground floor and 3 to the 1st floor. West side
has low gabled wing to south, a stair window and 2 sashed windows with
glazing bars. Original plans in Lancashire CRO: DDCC 2/39.
