House, 1678. Rendered rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays, with
ground-floor drip course. Windows hollow-chamfered, of 6 lights with
mullions and transoms. Door, between bays, has a moulded surround and a
shaped lintel inscribed: 'WHM 1678'. At the left is a lower mid C18th
addition of sandstone rubble having flat-faced mullioned windows with
plain stone surrounds: of 2 and 3 lights on the ground floor and 3 lights
on the 1st floor. Between the 2 ground-floor windows is a door with plain
stone surround. Left-hand gable has coping with kneelers. Gable chimneys.
Interior has firehood bressumer in left-hand room of earlier part of
house. The dog-leg stair has a closed string, turned balusters, newels
with large ball finials, the lower newel with an attached column, a
pendant, and an elaborately-carved ramped handrail.
