Pair of houses. 1850's. Stucco with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2
bays to each house, central 2 bays break forward under
pediment. 1st floor sill band and top consoled frieze and
bracketed cornice. Windows have architraves, those to
ground floor have panelled aprons, friezes and cornices,
those to 1st floor have eared architraves; all are sashed
with glazing bars. Pedimented returns, and pedimented
porches with entrances in eared architraves, and windows to
front with stained margin lights. No 44 is derelict, with
pediment and brackets missing.
