- The Millhouse

Mill, now house. C18, with late C16 or early C17 block to left. Timber-framed
to left, with same exposed; limewashed brick with some painted weatherboarding
to right. Plain tiled roofs. RIGHT; 3 storeys and cellars; 2 window front to
left with various loft entrances and cellar openings to right. Centres half-
glazed margin-light and panelled door in central entrance with panelled reveals
and projecting hood. LEFT: 2 storeys; irregular 2 windows front. The right-
hand end of the building abutts the mill-race in which the frame of the wheel,
much dilapidated at the time of re-survey, still stands.
