House. C15 and C16. Timber framed and exposed with plaster infill and
plain tiled roof. L-shaped plan, the shorter wing to left the truncated
C15 building. Two storeys and continuous jettied, carried on dragon
posts to left, on brackets to right. Large panelled framing to left,
close-studded to right on ground floor, with large panels and wavy bracing
on first floor. Hipped roof with gablet to left, catslide outshot to left,
and eaves line stepped up to right at junction of 2 wings. Stack to rear
right. Three wood casements on first floor, 2 segmental bay windows on
ground floor, with 5 light mullioned side windows in right hand wing,
and 3 light mullioned window to end left. Plank and stud door to left.
Interior: crown post on canted tie beams. Evidence of former extent of
older wing.
