Public house and former stables. Left part dated 1717, late C18 stables.
Painted incised stucco walls, under partly hipped graduated greenslate roof with
incised stucco chimney stacks. Stables have painted rendered walls, under
graduated greenslate roof with roughcast chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays
with left set-back single-bay extension and right higher 2-storey, 3-bay
stables. Off-centre C20 door in painted stone suround with dated lintel,
flanked by canted bay windows with glazing bars. Sash windows with glazing bars
in painted stone surrounds. Left C20 door up steps, in plain opening, and left
canted bay window. Extension has further door and sash windows in painted stone
surrounds. Stables have plank doors under sash windows with glazing bars.
Right domestic part has C20 door and windows in painted stone surrounds.
