Whitefield House and Pigeon House

Originally a single house, now divided internally. Georgian, ashlar, with
moulded cornice, plinth rusticated basement. 2 storeys above basement. Centre
panelled door up 6 steps, in Tuscan doorcase with open pediment. A 12-paned
sash window at each side of door with triple keystones, and 3 similar sash
windows above. Dated 1703 (an interior datestone said to be 1793). A lower
wing extends at each side. A square brick turret at rear, full height of
the house, with battlements, dated 1798. 2 fireplaces said to have been removed
to local museum.
Whitefield House, Pigeon House, Dovecote, and No. 112 form a group.
