2 houses. Said to date from 1798. Hammer-dressed watershot
stone with graduated stone slate roof. Each house is 1 room
deep with 1 bay and 3 storeys. Quoins. Doors to left of each
house have dressed surround. Total of two 4-light recessed
flat-faced stone mullion windows on each floor with
continuous sill bands. Those on top floor are boarded over
and those of No. 5 each have 2 mullions missing. Gable
chimney stacks. The only windows on the rear are at second
floor (workshop) level and have long been blocked up.
