House, formerly house and cottage; late C18/early C19. Wet-dashed rubble.
Graduated slate roof with stone-flagged eaves, stone copings, stone mid and end
chimneys; outshut to rear has C20 flat-roofed dormer. Original symmetrical
2-storey, 3-bay house front has C20 panelled central door in surround with pilasters
supporting broken pediment; sashes, all with glazing bars, in stone surrounds.
Former 2-bay cottage to left, later used as post office, has inserted C20 sashes
similar to main house windows. Later C19 outbuilding with hay loft adjoins north
end; coursed, squared rubble under welsh slate roof.
