Public House. Mid to late C18 but partly rebuilt in C20.
English garden wall bond brick with slate roof. L-shaped
plan with 6 x 2 bays and 2 and 3 storeys. Tudor-arched door
with C20 gabled porch in bay 4. Total of eleven 12 and 16-
pane flush sash windows with stone sills and cambered brick
arches. Dentilled eaves cornice. Bays 1 to 5 appear to have
been rebuilt in C20. Bays 5 and 6 from the gable to a 3-
storey wing at right-angles which has 2 bays on the right
return and 2 windows on each floor with cambered brick
arches, keystones, stone sills and casement or sash windows.
3-light casements to rear which has various lean-to
additions. Ridge and gable chimney stacks. Interior much
altered.
