House. Early and late C18. Hammer-dressed stone, most of
which is watershot, with graduated stone slate roof. 2-bay
single-depth house with 3 storeys. Quoins. Front is largely
blind but for a door with dressed surround and timber porch,
a blocked first floor taking-in door and C20 window, and a
13-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion workshop window
on the second floor. The rear also has a central square-cut
door surround and shows signs of various periods of
construction. The earliest part (right) has 2, 3 and 4-light
double-chamfered stone mullion windows whereas the left has
5 and 6-light recessed flat-faced mullion windows. The
second floor (entirely of the later build) has a 17-light
recessed flat-faced stone mullion window with king mullions
and 3 blocked lights. 2 ridge chimney stacks.
