House, formerly officer's house of Shrewsbury Armoury. c1806.
Brick with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3-window range with
central entrance with added porch. 12-pane sash windows to
ground floor, with wide splayed heads. Central upper window
blind. End wall stacks in hipped roof. Lower hipped roofed
block to the right originally workshop, now part of house. The
armoury was built in 1806, and its architect was James Wyatt.
