1864-1869, by W Walker of Manchester. Prominently sited on open slope above road. In perpendicular style. Coursed rubble. Large. West tower with panelled middle stage,
top stage with paired louvred windows and panelled battlements and pinnacles. Battlemented chancel, aisles and nave. Clerestory windows straight-headed, rest four-centre-headed. Stair windows at west ends of aisles.
