Terrace. c.1880. By Austin and Roland Plumbe for the Queen's Park Estate of the
Artisans, Labourers and General Dwellings Company. Yellow brick with red brick
dressings. Welsh slate roof, 2 storeys, each house 2 bays. Free Gothic style.
Corbelled porches with tiled roofs contain paired entrances with Tudor-arched
doorways, half-glazed doors. End houses have entrances to returns and tripartite
window to each floor. Paired sashes with dividing colonette and moulded
lintels. Above, mainly sashes with margin lights. Moulded eaves cornice. The
second house from each end has a 3-storey tower with pyramidal roof, round-headed
entrance with recessed doors and moulded eaves. This terrace forms part of the
main street of the Estate.
