Terrace house. 1725 refronted and altered in 1912 by W Turner, Lord and Co. Ashlar
facing with channelled ground floor and rusticated quoins. Slate roof. Four storeys
and basement. Four windows. Moulded architraves to windows, enriched frieze above
those on first floor and cast iron balcony. Doric porch. Crowning cornice and
blocking course. Railings to area. Interior retains original staircase with stone
treads and wrought iron balustrade. Otherwise Edwardian panelling of high quality,as
well as good chimneypieces in most rooms and in rear first floor reset Regency
boiseries;all part of redecoration by Turner, Lord for Princess Hatzfeldt, etc.
