GV II

Baptist chapel. Early/mid C19. Coursed squared limestone rubble with
ashlar dressings; stone-slate roof. Single-room gable-fronted plan.
Front has a segmental-headed chamfered doorway below a moulded triangular
stone conopy on curved brackets. Above the doorway and to either side are
pointed-arched windows with hood moulds and wooden tracery. Gable has a
stone-coped parapet and contains a circular opening. Rear gable wall has
2 windows of similar shape but without ashlar dressings. Small outshut
on left side wall (facing road). A long lintel built into the same wall
suggests a possible origin as a small barn. Interior not inspected.
Included for group value.
