Terraced "4th rate" houses. c.1790-1800, Portman Estate development.
Stock brick, No. 8 with stuccoed ground floor; slate roofs. 3 storeys and
dormered mansards except for No. 8 with full attic storey, on basements.
2-window wide fronts. Semicircular arched doorways to left with patterned
impost blocks; panelled doors and radial patterned fanlights. Recessed
sashes, glazing bars intact, under flat gauged red brick arches and with
red brick reveals. Continuous 1st floor stucco plat band. Parapets with
stone copings. Bowed wrought iron balconettes to 1st floor windows. Cast
iron area railings with urn finials. Included for group value only.
