House, now 2 dwellings. Late C18/early C19. Squared coursed limestone with
concrete tile roof. Originally 2-unit plan with attached single-storey range.
One and 2 storeys with attics. No.20 (Walnut House) is a 3-window range of C20
casements, in original openings, under wood lintels. Central C20 door is also
under wood lintel. Mansard roof with 2 hipped roof dormers, each with C20
casement windows. Brick stacks at ends. Single-storey 2-window range, attached
to left, is similar. No.22 is a single-storey 3-window range of casements
attached to left. 2 C20 eaves dormers and brick stack at end. Entrance in left
gable. interior of No.20 (Walnut House) noted as having remains of an open
fireplace and interior of No.22 has a corner cupboard with fielded panelled
doors, probably reset.
