Pair of cottages. Early C16. Timber-framed on red brick plinth, and
exposed with close studding and plaster infilling. Plain tiled roof with gable
end towards street and small catslide extension to left. Tall brick stack on
left hand catslide. 2 storeys and garret. Single window in gable, 2 window
front below, casements, except 2 glazing bar sashes on first floor. Boarded
doors to left of each ground floor window. Interior: Substantial timber-frame
with heavily jowled posts.
