Early C18 house. Three storeys, 5 windows wide. In red stock brick with red dressings.
Stone capped parapet; stone cornice below second floor window and stone keystones to
segmental window arches to the first and ground floors.
Internally, original, full-height balustraded staircase; several rooms are fully or
partially timber panelled and contain some original fireplaces.
The ground floor is now the foyer to the cinema auditorium built in the backlands.
The rear elevation is intact above the ground floor.
