Parish Church. 1737, C19. Coursed limestone rubble and squared
limestone, slate roof with raised stone coped gables. Western
tower, nave, chancel, vestry. The 2 stage tower has a plinth,
roll moulded string course and rises to an embattled parapet. In
the south side is a double C19 half glazed door set in a simply
chamfered surround with a segmental lintel. Above is an openwork
clock. Each face has louvred semi circular headed lights with
keystones to the belfry stage. In the west wall is reset a mid
C12 tympanum with central scene of recumbent figures with
triciput above. On the lintel beneath are chip carved star
motifs. In the arch over are roundels containing geometric
designs. Above is a semi circular headed window with a keystone
to the ashlar arch. To the north side of the nave are 3 similar
windows. The vestry was added in early C19 and has a door with
lancet head and a plain pointed recess. In the vestry east end
is a pointed C19 window. The chancel east window is semi circular
headed. The south wall of the nave is as the north side.
Interior: This is plain and plastered, with a timber western
gallery. The chancel arch is a plain semi circular order. All
the fittings including the font are C19.
