SK 89 NW WILDSWORTH MEYNELL STREET

4/59 Westgate House
and railings

G.V. II

Farmhouse, gate and railings. c.1700 with early C19 alterations;
pebble dashed brick with pantile roof with raised brick coped
gables, gable and one axial stack. 2 storey 4 bay front with
brick dentillated eaves course. Off centre 4 panelled C19 door
with plain overlight, wooden doorcase with pilasters supporting
narrow moulded hood, flanked by to left a single and to right 2
plain sashes, all with segmental heads. To 1st floor 3 further
plain sashes to eaves. In front of the house are fine early C19
wrought iron gate and railings with crosses saltire to gateand
rails.
