House. Late C18. Reddish-brown brick in Flemish bond with hipped
plain tile roof, 2 brick hip stacks at right, 1 to rear left and
1 internal left stack. L-plan, double depth and with central
hallway. 3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Crowning modillion
eaves cornice continues around house. First floor has central
French windows with divided overlight otherwise 8/8 flush sashes
all under cambered arches. Second floor has 4/4 flush sashes.
Ground floor has canted bay at left with 3/3 between 1/1 sashes
and 3/3 sashes to right under cambered arch. All windows with
sills. Central entrance a part-glazed door, lower panels raised
and fielded, upper panels glazed with margin lights, fanlight
with Gothick glazing bars, in raised-and-fielded panel
round-arched reveals and roll-moulded architrave with timber
balcony over. Right (garden) facade has 2-storey timber bay with
6/6 between 4/4 sashes, otherwise 8/8 sashes under cambered
arches to ground and first floors with 4/4 sashes to second
floor.
