Terrace garden and court walls. Mid C18. Red brick, some
ashlar. Rectangular red brick wall extending about 200 metres,
set on a plinth with brick coping, ashlar coping to the west
side. Containing to the west side a raised brick paved terrace.
The south side with C20 garden seat. Leading to the north
terrace is a gateway with pair of rusticated ashlar piers with
ashlar coping and single pair of decorative ashlar urns from
Loughton Hall. The north east side broken by a gateway with
single pair of red brick gate piers with lead coping and single
ashlar orbs. To the north west is a narrow gateway with 2 red
brick piers each with ashlar coping surmounted by 4 small brick
and ashlar gables topped with single tapering finial and orb.
Further west is a further gateway with brick piers, ashlar coping
and single ashlar orb finials. Extending from the north west
side of the C17 build of the house for about 45 metres is a
corresponding wall with 3 corresponding gateways forming a court.
