Farmhouse. c.1660, altered and extended c.1830, C19, C20. Red
brick in English bond, pantile roof with steeply pitched, raised
brick coped tumbled gables and moulded kneelers. 2 gable stacks
with moulded tops and central vertical strips. Single narrower
ridge stack. 2 storey with garret, 4 bay front, having plinth,
first floor band. To ground floor a half glazed door covered by
a C20 extension. Flanked by glazing bar sashes and to left a 2
light French window. To first floor are 3 further sashes, all
openings have segmental brick heads. To the rear are 2 Cl9
extensions. Interior has roll moulded and stopped beams. Early
C19 staircase with carved string, wreathed handrail, turned
slender balusters. In the kitchen a chamfered fireplace
bressummer with diamond stops. Clasped purlin softwood roof.
