II
Road bridge. c.1805-1812, under the direction of John Rennie.
Red brick with ashlar dressings. Elliptical arch with red brick
band over. Bowed swept walls terminating in single square piers.
Ashlar coped parapet. The north half of this bridge is in
Frithville parish, the south half in Fishtoft parish, Boston
Borough Council. Ref. item 7/37. The area was drained and
enclosed by the engineer John Rennie 1802-12. Source: Wright.
