Late C18 or early C19. 2 storeys and attics in coursed rubble. Mansard roof
of stone slates, 4 dormers, sashes, glazing bars to No 17. 2-3 windows, rough
stone surrounds, keystones, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, 1 window blocked.
Stone quoins. Modern shop to No 17. No 16 has 2 windows, no glazing bars, flank
modern door with rectangular fanlight. Band continues cills of windows.
Nos 14 to 17 (consec) and Gateway to Sir Malcolm Sargent School form a group.
