A mediaeval house with C18 and C19 emendations resulting in a nondescript cement-render
front and roof of Welsh slates. 2 gabled and roughcast dormers contain casement
windows, to No 9. C19 cottage door set into a C16 window space, of which a transom
forms a lintel, and the 2 upper mullioned lights serve as a fanlight. An early
C19 hung sash adjoins, glazing bars, and all is under a moulded label, with part
of a 2nd mullioned window. A wood oriel, pre-C16, with C19 glazing over a moulded
corbel with heraldic badge No 10 has C19 shop front with plain pilasters and one
sash window with large glazing bars. Modern door.
Nos 2, 3 & Nos 5 to 10 (consec) form a group.
