House. 1617, altered and extended C19, with minor C20
alterations. Red brick in English bond with Welsh slate roofs,
brick coped gables, moulded kneelers with large square brick
ridge stack having 4 moulded octagonal twisted brick shafts.
Early C17 range has been extended by lower C19 hipped roof block
added to north front, and pent roofed range to south. 2 storey
with garret C17 range having plinth, chamfered second floor
offset to gable end which has 2 openings to ground floor covered
by later conservatory. To first floor a pair of margin light
sashes with segmental heads. To garret a further margin light
sash in chamfered surround with brick pediment and small roundel
over. The south front has roll moulded and dentillated eaves
and small chamfered plinth shows on the 2 exposed bays. The
doorway is brick pedimented and above is a later window in
chamfered surround also pedimented. To the right C20 windows to
each floor. Interior. In the dining room a chamfered ceiling
girder with ogee stops and chamfered joists with triangular stops
to ceiling girder only. Also a fireplace with chamfered
bressumer and ogee stops.
